Venture Team: 1000 Satellites Coworking

Chemovator is the business incubator of BASF. We provide a protected space to build commercial ventures from unconventional ideas. Our Venture Teams take full ownership of their idea, creatively explore their business, learn fast and pivot beyond corporate boundaries.

Our Venture Team 1000 Satellites Coworking will soon provide a network of decentral coworking spaces in small cities for commuters, regional freelancers and startups for flexibly choosing a productive work environment close to their homes.

In addition to our growing team you will take full responsibility for our first competitive coworking space in Mannheim-Vogelstang.

We are looking for a motivated and highly self-driven expert to join our journey. Are you the right one to bring our first coworking space together with us to life?

Your role

  • You are the “go-to-person” within our coworking space and your ears are always open for the concerns or ideas of our guests
  • You organize community events and get-togethers
  • You maintain our spaces, ensure that our processes run smoothly and give technical support whenever it is needed
  • You welcome new guests and undertake the housekeeping and community rules
  • You regularly check all room and ensure the availability of every needed perk like drinks, food or working material
  • You represent 1000 Satellites Coworking externally and generate new leads with your enthusiasm about coworking and our decentral concept

You offer

  • You are a caretaker with a high service motivation who loves to build up an inspiring and efficient community
  • Your background is in a service sector field and you have relevant experiences in taking care of other persons as well as setting rule and give clear instructions
  • Your communication skills are excellent (in German and in English as well), and you feel comfortable with handling guests as well as other stakeholders
  • You are familiar with coworking and event management
  • You describe yourself as a creative and pragmatic person, big team player and you love to work in a changing environment
